FAQs

When will my order ship?

Your order will ship out within 1-2 business days after you place your order. No orders are shipped out on weekends or holidays. This means that if you placed your order on Friday, your order will ship out on Monday or Tuesday. You will receive an email with your tracking information once your order ships.
If your item is out of stock or back-ordered you will be notified as soon as possible with the estimated ship date and have the option to cancel your order.

What are your shipping fees?

You can choose your shipping option during checkout. Domestic shipping options are:

  • UPS Ground Shipping: $10
  • UPS 2 Day Shipping: $18
  • UPS Next Day Air Saver Shipping: $25
For international orders, shipping is offered via USPS International Priority Mail Service for $20.

How can I track my order?

Log in to your account to see the status of your order. If you did not create an account during checkout, use the contact form to send a message requesting your order status.  Be sure to include your order number or your first and last name.

Can I send my order as a gift?

Yes! Simply add a note during checkout that your order is a gift and we will include a gift receipt.

What is your return and exchange policy?

If you are not completely satisfied with your jewelry, you can request a full refund* or exchange to a different item within 14 days from the date you receive your order. All returned items must be in new and unused condition and be returned with all the packaging and tags. Simply request a Return Authorization using the contact form for full instructions.  Be sure to include your order number. 

*Shipping charges are not refundable; orders shipped with free shipping will be deducted $10 from the refund amount. Returns and exchanges are not available for international orders at this time.

Will my order be charged tax?

Only orders shipped to New Jersey will be charged 7% sales tax as required by law.

Is your jewelry really handmade?

Absolutely! I am enamored with the old ways of making jewelry and all of my jewelry is crafted by hand using specialized techniques developed over 400 years ago. My dedicated team of master artisans skillfully crafts every part of the jewelry; from the silver disks to the handmade clasps (but we don’t hand make the chains unless specifically stated). It typically requires 6-8 weeks and 4-6 master artisans to complete a piece (this doesn’t include any of the design and development time).

Do you source your materials ethically?

Yes. It is very important to me that all of my materials come from legitimate and ethical sources. In addition to adhering with the Kimberly Process, I strive to ask the right questions of my suppliers, check all the facts and do my due diligence on every aspect of creating my jewelry. My extended team of generational artisans, gem traders, gem cutters and I are committed to an ethical business practice.

Do you accept international orders?

International shipping is here! Yay! I now ship to the following countries:

Australia, Belgium, Canada, Denmark, Finland, France, Germany, Hong Kong, Iceland, Israel, Italy, Japan, Luxembourg, Netherlands, Norway, Spain, Switzerland, Sweden and the UK

If you don't see your shipping destination listed, please contact me and I will check if your purchase can be shipped to you.

How do I get a coupon code?

Subscribe to my newsletter to receive special offers, promotions, news on special events and exclusive access.

Can I buy your jewelry in a store?

At this time, you can only purchase my collection online on my website, my etsy shop and at special events. Subscribe to my newsletter to receive information about upcoming events, news and developments.

If you are interested in carrying my jewelry in your boutique, shop, salon or studio, please contact me for details.

I saw your jewelry at a special event but don’t see it on the site. How can I buy a piece from your other collections?

You can send a message using the contact form to check if that item is in stock or to special order it. You can also subscribe to my newsletter to be notified of special offers to order exclusive pieces from my collections.

Do you have a press kit?

Yes. Please email me with your details at sapna[at]sapnamehra[dot]com to request a press kit or with any questions you may have.
